Download and install the Windows ADK with the Application Compatibility Tools.
Run the Compatibility Administrator (32-bit).
On the left side, rename New Database to CMR2Fix.
Right-click it and create new application fix.
Choose a name and the file location (CMR2.exe).
Click on Next twice.
Enable the ForceDisplayMode and ForceSimpleWindow compatibilty fixes.
Click on Next and Finish.
Select CMR2Fix and save it as a new file.
Right-click on CMR2Fix and install.

Download dgVoodoo wrapper from here.
Unpack the wrapper on your computer.
Copy contents of the MS folder in dgVoodoo folder to the root folder of Colin McRae Rally 2.0.
Open dgVoodooCpl.exe.
Click Add and select the game folder and click Choose folder.
On DirectX section tick a checkbox with 'Disable and passthru to real DirectX'.
Click Apply, then OK, and lastly exit the program.
Run the game from the executable and change the settings in-game.
